AEP Ohio has changed its name to Ohio Power Co.

AEP Ohio has changed its name to Ohio Power Co. and is launching a new monthly electricity bill.  On Thursday, Ohio Power Co.’s name will appear on the company’s website, bills, customer correspondence, and other materials.  Customers’ electric service, account details, tariffs, or methods of contacting the company are unaffected by the switch to Ohio Power.  Consumers can keep utilizing the company’s mobile app, current customer service lines, and current payment choices without having to do anything.    In October, the company’s website, AEPOhio.com, will change to OhioPowerCo.com. The new website will be immediately sent to visitors to AEPOhio.com.
