Bowling Green authorities inform residents that Water Supply Division has not complied water treatment regulations.

City authorities have informed Bowling Green residents that their Water Supply Division has not complied with some water treatment regulations.  Earlier this month, a hard copy document dated August 12th was circulated; it is also available online on a city webpage.  The city is accused of failing to “comply with corrosion control treatment regulations.”   According to the declaration, the division must have an orthophosphate range of at least 1.5 milligrams per liter.  The letter states that throughout the monitoring period from January to June 2026, these necessary levels were not maintained for a total of 29 days.
