Bryan man sentenced to prison for gun-related event that resulted in death of cat.

In Williams County Common Pleas Court, a Bryan man was sentenced to prison for a gun-related event that resulted in the death of a cat.  Judge Rhonda Fisher sentenced 58 year old Nelson Lautermilch to six to seven and a half years in prison for charges of improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation, a second-degree felony with a firearm specification; cruelty to companion animals, a fifth-degree felony; endangering children, a first-degree misdemeanor; and criminal damaging, a first-degree misdemeanor.
