A business that makes building exterior products plans to permanently close its Walbridge site and fire 104 workers.  In a letter submitted to the state last week, Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. of North Carolina stated that it expects the Tracy Road site to close between December 1 and December 31 “subject to any wind-down activities.” The impacted workers won’t have bumping rights with the corporation because they don’t belong to a union.
