Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library specialty license plate in Ohio getting a lot of attention. 

Following the passing of the cherished country music star, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library specialty license plate in Ohio is getting a lot of attention.  Sales of the license plate more than doubled following Parton’s death on August 25, according to a statement made by Governor Mike DeWine on Thursday. Ohioans apparently bought 533 plates from January 1 and August 24, up from 1,113 since August 25.   Sales of the unique plate, which debuted in January 2025, helped fund Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio. According to the governor’s office, each plate contributes $25 to the program in the county where it is bought.
