There is excellent news for Ohio from the most recent U.S. Drought Monitor.  After dry conditions returned to some areas of Indiana, Ohio is currently the only state without drought conditions.  Compared to earlier this year, when drought conditions had spread throughout parts of Ohio and the surrounding area, it is a significant shift. The Buckeye State’s drought worries were allayed by frequent downpours, and according to the most recent weekly report, Ohio is still drought-free.
