Fracking auction for nearly 3,000 acres of land in Ohio’s sole national forest to take place.

In September, a fracking auction for nearly 3,000 acres of land in Ohio’s sole national forest will take place.  On September 15th, 41 parcels totaling 2,840 acres in Wayne National Forest will be put up for auction, according to the Bureau of Land Management. These sites, which are located in Monroe and Washington counties, were announced earlier this month.
