Game Con will return to Northwest State Community College Saturday.

Game Con, a pop culture event, will return to Northwest State Community College on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Northwest State and its official e-sports team, NSCC Thunder, are in charge of the competition. All ages are welcome, and attendance is free.  There are both new and returning events at this year’s event. One of them is Super Smash Bros. for 100 players. A Pokémon Card Game tournament held by Checkmate Games with prizes linked to Pokémon, an Ultimate tournament with a $600 prize pool, a cosplay competition with a $500 prize pool, and additional open events accessible to all participants.
