Lawsuit filed against the owners of cattle farm in Williams County that was previously cited for infractions.

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office has filed a lawsuit against the owners of a sizable cattle farm in Williams County that was previously cited for infractions.  James N. Schmucker, Catherine E. Schmucker, and James S. Schmucker Jr. are accused in the lawsuit filed in Williams County Common Pleas Court on Monday of breaking Ohio’s Concentrated Feeding Facilities law by neglecting to apply for and receive permits from the Ohio Department of Agriculture prior to building and running a concentrated animal feeding facility.
