Following the mass shooting near the Old West End Festival last weekend, Metroparks Toledo is reassuring the community that public safety is their top priority as Toledo gets ready for the upcoming four-day Watershed Weekend.  Metroparks Toledo just released its most comprehensive security plan to date in a Facebook public announcement. To guarantee safety during Glass City Riverwalk events, the group has been collaborating with the Toledo Police Department, the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, private security, and its own internal police force.
