Ohio Gov. signs legislation creating the Ohio Defense and Space body.

Gov. Mike DeWine signed legislation creating the Ohio Defense and Space body, a new state body dedicated to expanding the defense and aerospace businesses.  House Bill 292 was signed into law by State Representatives Nick Santucci (R-Niles) and Ty Mathews (R-Findlay).   The group will be charged with creating plans to advance Ohio’s aerospace and defense sectors and improve the state’s standing in luring production, investment, and research.  According to Santucci, “Ohio is well positioned to lead the next generation of American defense and aerospace innovation.”
