Purchase of robot for painting ball fields on school grounds approved by Millcreek-West Unity School.

The purchase of a $39,933.50 robot for painting ball fields on school grounds was unanimously approved by Millcreek-West Unity School on Monday.  According to Superintendent Steve Riley, there would be “tremendous savings” in terms of both money and time.  In roughly 45 minutes, the innovative machinery from Tiny Mobile Robot can paint the football field’s lines. Additionally, designs and other elements can be programmed into it.  Twelve to fifteen years is the anticipated lifespan. The purchase plan calls for a six-year lease with a warranty, after which the robot can be bought.
