School supplies to be distributed in Defiance.

School supplies will be distributed by the Tools for Schools steering group at Defiance’s First Presbyterian Church, 501 Washington Ave., from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday and from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday in the basement section of the fellowship hall.  Attendance is encouraged for students and families who require assistance obtaining school supplies for the upcoming academic year.  Additionally, on Saturday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., students who are neuro-divergent will have a separate, quieter time to pick up their supplies.  Financial support from local businesses, foundations, congregations, and service organizations has made the supplies available.
