State lawmakers propose bill to eliminate legal gaps concerning safety of ridesharing consumers.

State lawmakers from Ohio are proposing a bill that they think will eliminate legal gaps that endanger the safety of ridesharing consumers.  “From point A to point B, you shouldn’t have to worry about your safety,” stated Ohio State Representative Michele Grim (D-Toledo).  Preventing sexual assaults in rideshares, which are increasingly endangering Ohioans, is part of that safety, according to Grim.
