A three-year contract between the union that represents police dispatchers and Bryan City Council was ratified on Monday night.  According to the deal, salaries will rise by 4% annually for this year and the following, and by 3% in 2028.  Additional incentives for individuals with an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree, a 5% premium for dispatchers who act as training officers for new hires, and an increase in the reimbursable uniform allowance from $250 to $500 are among the other modifications to the contract.
