A Toledo man was found not guilty of involvement in a drive-by shooting near Swanton last year. A Fulton County jury returned the verdict in the case of 25 year old Brendan Steinhauser, who had been charged with improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation or a school safety zone, a second-degree felony; and three counts of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, fourth- and fifth-degree felonies. An indictment returned by a Fulton County grand jury in March also had included two firearm specifications that would have required mandatory prison terms upon conviction.
