Williams County commissioners approve management contract for Hillside Country Living.

The Williams County commissioners approved a management contract on Thursday, following over a year of efforts to improve Hillside Country Living’s financial status.  The agreement is with Vancrest Management Corp., which operates and owns a number of nursing homes in western and northwest Ohio. Vancrest will get 5% of the facility’s gross sales under the terms of the one-year agreement. The expenses will also be paid for by the county. The contract can be extended for an additional three years.  In return, Vancrest will offer Hillside complete operational, managerial, and administrative support. Workers will continue to be categorized as county employees.
