The Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Specialized Dockets has re-certified the Williams County Family Intervention Court of the Common Pleas Court, Juvenile Division. In order to be certified, a local court must submit a thorough application, provide particular program materials in response to certification standards that went into effect in January 2014, and endure an inspection and report on its operations. Judge Karen K. Gallagher and the Family Intervention Court were commended by Chief Justice Sharon L. Kennedy of the Ohio Supreme Court for fulfilling the requirements necessary for final certification.
