Loretta M. Quota, age 82, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 6:45 P.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the home of her daughter in Bryan after a brief illness. A longtime resident of Nebraska, Mrs. Quota had been a supervisor at Franks Fruit House in Omaha. She attended New Life Temple in Bryan, where she was active as a food pantry volunteer. She also enjoyed working with needlepoint and sequins and working puzzles and most of all enjoyed her cookies.
Loretta M. Quota was born on August 5, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Peter and Marie Wegrzyn. She married Eugene Quota, Sr. on November 15, 1952, in Chicago, and he preceded her in death on September 11, 2004.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlene Hageman, of Bryan, Darlene Wolfe, of Wausa, Nebraska, and Arlene (Tony, Sr.) Melroy, of Bryan; two sons, Wayne (Luann) Quota, of Valley, Nebraska, and Eugene (Penni) Quota, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor J. Mark Holbrook officiating. Interment will be private.
