Saturday is Stamp Out Hunger day with USPS

Time to get your canned goods and non-perishable food items ready. Letter carriers are gearing up for National Stamp Out Hunger Day on Saturday. It’s the nation’s largest one-day food drive that helps an estimated 48-million hungry Americans. A dozen volunteers will help postal carriers pick up and deliver bags and boxes of food left on doorsteps as donations. This year’s Bryan food drive will go to Open Hands Caring Hands pantry at the New Life Worship Center. The other Williams County postal branches will collect for their local pantries.
