Debra I. Lyons, age 61, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 1:15 P.M. on Friday, June 24, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana after an extended illness. Mrs. Lyons was a 1972 graduate of Bryan High School and was a longtime employee of Spangler Candy Company retiring with more than thirty-five years of service. She was a Life Member and treasurer of the Bryan VFW Post #2489 Ladies Auxiliary and also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Military Order of Cooties with Post #2489. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Debra I. Lyons was born on July 4, 1954, in Bryan, the daughter of Olen and Mildred (Bailey) Field. She married Ralph Lyons on October 11, 1975, in Bryan and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacie (Jeffery) Smith, of Ney, Ohio and Angie (Chris) Stark, of Edgerton, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Shari (Steve) Clemens, of Mark Center, Ohio; one stepson, Mark (Jenn) Brinck, of McPherson, Kansas; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Russel (Sandy) Field, of Delta, Ohio, Jerry Law, of Alton, Illinois, and Ronald Law, of Bryan; and four stepsisters and one step brother. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Olen Field and Mildred Hall, and two sisters, Joann Thornsley-Beucler and Diane Dosset.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home in Bryan with Pastor Kevin King officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.
