Jason Michael Griffith, age 43, passed away suddenly in his home on Thursday, December 8, 2016, of natural causes. Jason was a graduate of Fairview High School, where he was on the wrestling team and the track and field team, where he was a shot putter and discus thrower, and also participated in the band and drama. His passions included restoring and fixing vehicles and spending time with his family and friends. Most recently his endeavors included having huge family and friends cookouts and going all out with his Christmas decorating.
Survivors include his wife, Mandy, who he married on April 6, 2013; his father, Kenny (and his wife, Claudia Peters) Trausch; three wonderful children, Alexander, Olivia and Coral Griffith; his brother, Chris Gant; two uncles; an aunt; three siblings; and his mother-in-law, Terry Dillon; who Jason found comfort with following the death of his mother. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha (Ferrebee) Trausch; his brother, James Browning; a stepbrother, Tony Trausch; and an uncle, Steve Ferrebee. Jason will always be remembered by his loyal band of brothers.
Visitation will take place in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. followed by a time of sharing for friends and family. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, next to his mother and brother, at a later date.
