Leonard L. Ewers, age 81, of Ney, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Toledo Hospital. Mr. Ewers was a supervisor at Bryan Metals prior to his retirement and was a US Army veteran. He was the primary caretaker for his parents and enjoyed fishing with his family.
Leonard L. Ewers was born September 16, 1935 in Ney, Ohio, the son of Ray W. and Edith A. (Kyser) Ewers. He is survived by his siblings, Ned (Sandy) Ewers, of Defiance, Eileen (Larry) Lloyd, of Stryker, Mary Russell, of Boca Raton, Florida and John Ewers, of Bryan; sister-in-law, Jean Ewers, of Bryan; seven nieces and nine nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lawrence Ewers and niece, Paula Luke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan followed by funeral services 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Scott Carlin officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Cemetery.
Memorials in the name of Leonard L. Ewers may be given to the organization of the donor’s choice.
