Odessa P. Woodart, 95

Odessa P. Woodart, age 95, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, January 27, 2017, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center in Bryan, Ohio, where she was a resident. The widow of Edmund Woodart, Odessa was a longtime nurse at Williams County General Hospital in Montpelier, Ohio, and Cameron Hospital in Bryan and worked at the Bryan Nursing Home on Beech Street for many years. She also did private duty nursing throughout the area. She was a member of Victory Barn Church in Edgerton, Ohio.

Odessa A. Woodart was born on June 4, 1921, in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Nora (Lambert) Mahaney.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan (Duane) Darrow, of Bryan; one son, Richard Woodart, of Toledo, Ohio; her grandchildren, Sheri Watkins, Dena Sailer, Ricky Potter, Tracy (Erica) Potter, Bobby Woodart, Chris (Jaime) Jinkins and Adam, Michael, Paige, Dustin, Dillon, Gracie and James.

Services for Odessa P. Woodart will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017, at 1:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Rosene Short-Moseley officiating. The family will receive visitors for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, on Monday. Interment will take place in Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette, Ohio.
