Corres Lee Pierce, Jr., age 79, of Montpelier, Ohio, died on Friday, April 14, 2017, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier. Mr. Pierce was a 1955 graduate of Edgerton High School. Lee was a foreman at Sheets Construction and then M.H.E. manufactured homes near Bryan. He was formerly a member of the Hamilton Church of Christ and the Bryan Eagles. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching NASCAR races.
Corres Lee Pierce, Jr. was born on June 9, 1937, in Defiance County, Ohio, the son of Corres and Bernice (Green) Pierce. He married Onie Marie Black, who preceded him in death.
Lee is survived by his siblings, Mary Lou Pierce, of Bryan, Leslie (Jan) Pierce, of Bismark, North Dakota, Pat (Barton) Rowe, of Bryan, Judy (Frank) Handy, of Hicksville, Kay Price, of Fishers, Indiana and Tom Pierce, of Butler, Indiana; half sister, Billie (Charlie) Wolfe, of Bryan; numerous Nieces and nephews and a special friend, Vicki Niese, of West Unity. He was preceded in death by parents, wife, Onie Marie and a son, Greg Pierce.
In accordance with Lee’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. He will be interred at Fountain Grove Cemetery, in Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Williams County Humane Society.
