Dolores E. “Dee” Goebel. Age 72, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 1:55 A.M. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio after an extended illness. Mrs. Goebel was a graduate of Coshocton, Ohio High School and was a State Certified Nurses Assistant (STNA). She had worked at several nursing homes in the area including Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Betz Nursing Home and Wesley Nursing Home, in Auburn, Indiana and had also been employed by Lectron Industries in Hamilton, Indiana for many years.
Dolors E. “Dee” Goebel was born on February 11, 1945, in Coshocton, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Lillian (Duhammel) Hardesty. She married Theodore “Ted” G. Goebel on June 14, 1975, in Edgerton and he survives.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Jill Goebel, of Edgerton; three grandchildren, Brandon Goebel, Matthew Goebel and Lacey Goebel, all of Edgerton; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy Fahnstock, of West Lafayette, Ohio; and one brother, Paul Hardesty, of Coshocton. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister. Evelyn Sturtz; and twin brothers, Kenneth and Kevin Hardesty.
A celebration of Dee’s life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 11:30 A.M. at Life Changing Realities Fellowship in Edgerton. Interment will be Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
