Dedicating 25 years to helping provide food to people in need across the country, the National Association of Letter Carriers is gearing up for its annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive, scheduled for Saturday. If you haven’t already received one, reminders will be placed in people’s mailboxes this week of the country’s largest single-day food drive. Throughout the drive, NALC reported it has collected more than 1.5 billion pounds of food for those around the country. You’re asked to place non-perishable foods in a bag and place them near your mailbox for pick-up during regular deliveries tomorrow.
