Lois D. Bowers, 75

Lois D. Bowers, age 75, of rural Edgerton, Ohio, died at 2:30 A.M. on June 18, 2017, in her home surrounded by her family after an illness of six months. Mrs. Bowers was a 1959 graduate of Fairview High School and began her work career at Laubach Clinic in Edgerton, where she was a receptionist and x-ray technician. She went to work for Vollmer Implement where she was parts manager and following its closure she managed the front desk at the YMCA in Bryan for eighteen years. She attended Life Changing Realities Fellowship in Edgerton, enjoyed camping and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and babysitting the grandchildren.

Lois D. Bowers was born on August 16, 1941, in Farmer Township, near Edgerton, the daughter of Marvin and Geneva (Krill) Musser. She married Harry L. Bowers, Jr. on August 23, 1959, in Edgerton and he survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Harry L. (Stephne) Bowers, III, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Craig (Nancy) Bowers, of Farmer; one daughter, Dawn (Tom) Murray, of Bryan; eight grandchildren, Trevor, Nathan, Mitchell, and Elycia Bowers; Karmyn and Benjamin Bowers; and Makenna and Blaine Murray; and four great-grandchildren, Bailey Bowers, Braelynn and Bexlee Murray and C.J. Webster. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Gregory Bowers and one brother, Duane Musser.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Life Changing Realities Fellowship in Edgerton with Pastor Byron Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Farmer Cemetery, Farmer, Ohio.

Memorials are requested to the Farmer Park Project, Farmer Fire Department, Community Health Professionals Home Health and Hospice Care or to Life Changing Realities Fellowship.
