Mary Lou Buehrer, age 88, of Archbold, passed away in her home on Thursday, August 10, 2017. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing, and loved attending events for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary Lou was born in Fulton County on June 18, 1929, the daughter of Joy Sam and Joyce Lena (Winzeler) Graf. On February 22, 1949, she married Herbert John Buehrer, and he preceded her in death in 1986. She was a member of the Archbold Evangelical Church where she was an active participant of the Ladies Aide.
Surviving is son, Keith (Deb) Buehrer of Archbold; daughters, Wendy (Rollan) Sensibaugh of Ft. Wayne, IN and Cindy Buehrer of Ft. Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Sid (Michele) Buehrer, Andy (Billie) Buehrer, Kelly (Dennis) Landwehr, Chris (Kim) Buehrer, Erin (Mark) Schmidt, and Kara (Robert) Reyes. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Gene (Marlene) Graf of Fayette. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Randy Joy Buehrer; daughter, Sandra Kay Buehrer; brother, John Graf; and two sisters, Joy Link and Shirley Lersch.
Visitation for Mary Lou will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Archbold Evangelical Church, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, with Pastor Wes Hoffmire, officiating. Committal services will be held prior to the service at the Pettisville Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Archbold Evangelical Church Ladies Aide or the charity of the donor’s choice.
