Haden Alexender Bevard, 16, was granted his angel wings on December 1, 2017 due to complications following a heart transplant. He drifted off peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born February 25, 2001 in Toledo, Ohio to his loving parents Byron and Lindsey (Gares) Bevard.
Haden was born with a heart condition and underwent 5 different open-heart surgeries. Despite all of that he pushed through life with a smile on his face and remained a fighter till the end. He had such a loving personality and would get along with anyone. He didn’t have one mean bone in his body and treated everyone with love and respect.
Haden attended Pettisville Highschool as a sophomore and was proud to be a Blackbird. He loved playing golf and being a part of the varsity golf team. He enjoyed being a member of the PHS agricultural program (FFA) and FCCLA. He enjoyed playing Xbox with his dad, brother, cousins, and friends. He was a diehard Lions and Michigan fan and enjoyed watching every game he could with his Dad. Haden loved his brother and sister and having his Mom by his side.
Haden is survived by his parents, Byron and Lindsey (Gares) Bevard, brother Rylee Bevard and sister Jayce Bevard, all of Pettisville. He also leaves behind his Grandparents: Jeff and Kim (Gares) Murphy of Defiance; Chris and Lorie Rath of Defiance, and Bill and Judy Bevard of Hillsdale, MI. He is also survived by his Great Grandparents Jim and Carol Gares of Defiance, Jeanine Stevens of Defiance, and several loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends. Haden’s love extends to Don and Jane Meck of Archbold who has also loved and supported him throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents: Bill and Patsy Rath, Bob Stevens, Clifford and Maxine Adams, and William and Claudia Bevard.
