Bell Engineering

Only one engineering firm answers an advertisement to work on a street project in Pioneer next year. Bell Engineering, of Bryan, put in a bid for $95,000, or 5 percent of the project’s cost. The work will fix a stormwater problem in the southeast corner of town, from the Subway and Dollar General, to the village line. It will replace the concrete asbestos water line that serves the lake. It will also run a new sewer discharge line out of the pump stations to prevent overflow…creating a new street in the area.
