Arlene M. VonAhrens, age 81, of Wauseon, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the Fulton County Health Center.
Arlene was born in Wauseon on July 24, 1936, the daughter of Lawrence and Adelia (Meyers) Dickman. She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon. She loved tending to birds, cats, and enjoyed playing cards.
Surviving are two sisters, Marilyn Gee of Wauseon and Carol Edmonson of Ashburn, Georgia; sister-in-law, Arvella Dickman of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jim and Larry Dickman and brother-in-law, Jerry Gee.
Visitation for Arlene will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Emmaus Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 28, 2017, also at the church, with the Rev. Steven R. Geske, officiating. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
