Verna “Susie” L. Kohl, age 83, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 7:12 P.M. on Sunday, December 24, 2017, at Genesis Healthcare-Bryan Center. Susie was a shipping clerk for 30 years at Robinair. She was a member of the House of Prayer in Montpelier and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Susie was born on October 30, 1934, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Greta (Griffith) Cook. She married William W. Kohl in Montpelier on April 27, 1957 and he preceded her in death on February 25, 2015.
Surviving are her children, Molly (Kevin) Wolff, of Bryan, Marvin (Sherri) Kohl, of Blakeslee and Connie (Steve) Boyd, of Montpelier; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and brothers Harold (Evelyn) Cook, Jr and Daniel Cook, both of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Josie (Kohl) Davis, brother, David Cook and sisters, Rosemary Cook and Joyce Paschall.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris officiating. Burial will follow the services at Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier.
Memorials are requested to the House of Prayer in Montpelier.
