An $11,000 meter glitch, discovered in December, has caused one Edgerton Village Councilman to question the village’s protocols on such matters. Dawn Fitzcharles, outgoing village administrator, said a problem with Edgerton Local Schools’ electric meter resulted in the district underpaying thousands of dollars for their electricity consumption over a 10-month period.
