Mary Ellen Haller, age 81, of Garrett, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Coventry Meadows Assisted Living in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she was a resident. Mrs. Haller was a 1954 graduate of Farmer High in Farmer, Ohio, was co-owner of Haller Trucking for a number of years and was also a farm girl at heart. She was a member of Country Cousins Extension Club, Sweet Adelines in Bryan, Ohio and was the church organist for Farmer United Methodist church for many years.
Mary Ellen Haller was born on September 1, 1936, in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of Loyal and Doris (Mavis) Cameron.
Survivors include two sons, Denny (Carolyn) Haller, of Columbia, South Carolina and Craig (Barbara) Haller, of Markle, Indiana; two daughters, Lori Guerrero, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Amy Haller, of Jeffersonville, Indiana; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Colleen (Bob) Oess, of Cambridge, Ohio and Connie (Don Pahl) Welly, of Edgerton. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Louise Kaiser.
Grave side service for Mary Ellen Haller will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the Farmer Cemetery, Farmer, Ohio, with Steve Reader officiating. Services have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
Memorials are requested to the March of Dimes.
