Another pretrial hearing is held for James Ramey, charged with murder and kidnapping in Fulton County. Ramey’s counsel filed a motion for expert assistance in the case. Ramey is accused of killing Amanda Mangas of Delta last year. He also is accused of leaving the area with the couple’s then 10-month-old son and Mangas’ stepmother. Both were later found, unharmed. A trial date has been set for Nov. 5.
