Laura H. Meyer, age 95, of Napoleon, Ohio, and formerly of Wauseon, died June 15, 2018 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.
Born November 27, 1922 in Defiance County, she was the daughter of Carl and Helen (Kruse) Huner. She was baptized December 17, 1922; and confirmed on August 23, 1936 at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Defiance County. On December 21, 1943, she married Raymond C. Meyer, who preceded her in death in November of 1998, and two sons, BM3C Terry Lynn Meyer in 1968 and Keith Ray in 1980. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Gavin Tyler Pedraza; great-granddaughter, Psalm Aurora Kauffman; three sisters, Hildegard Huner, Christina Sonnenberg, Valeta Koppenhofer; and two brothers, Melvin Huner and Elder Huner. She was a Gold Star mother. She was a homemaker, worked at Scott-Port-A-Fold and Globe Wies. She was a member of the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon.
She is survived by three daughters: Sue (Rickey) Bloomer of Wauseon; Bonnie (Lorenzo) Pedraza of Napoleon; and Sandra (Edward) Eyer of Wauseon; and two sons: Jerry (Alvena) Meyer of Camp Verde, Arizona; and Gary (Carol) Meyer of Orangedale, Florida. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and even great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Laura will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Emmaus Lutheran Church from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services for Laura will be Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon, Ohio, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Steven Geske officiating.
