Larry Gene Dirr, 65

Larry Gene Dirr, age 65, of Angola, Indiana, died at 6:56 A.M. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, in his home after a extended illness. Mr. Dirr was a former resident of the Montpelier, Ohio area and was a self employed carpenter.

Born May 22, 1953, in Sylvania, Ohio, he was the son of Melvin E. and Shirley J. (Richards) Dirr. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah (Mike) Balowski, of Union City Michigan; two grandchildren, Liam and Emmylin; one brother, Richard, of Angola; and two sisters, Brenda (Larry), of Ohio, and Trudy (Charles), of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David (Cathy), of Indiana, and Allen (Diana), of Florida.

There will be a memorial service at his daughter’s request. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018.
