Defiance Alley Plan Moves Forward

A plan to turn Defiance’s downtown alleys into pedestrian walkways is approved by city council. J&N Builders of Defiance gets the $25 thousand dollar contract for the improvements…which entails extending curbs and stamped concrete in four Clinton Street locations…blocking traffic from entering the alleys. The project is part of the city’s initiative in recent years to increase pedestrian walking opportunities in the downtown area.
