Harriett Elizabeth Lamneck, 70 years, of Bryan, passed away Thursday evening, August 13, 2020, at Evergreen Healthcare, Montpelier. Harriett was born August 3, 1950, in Miami, Florida, the daughter of the late Charles Leslie and Arletta Dale (Spears) Blake. Harriett was a homemaker most of her life, but she had previously worked for Peachtree Windows. She was a former member of the Bryan AMVETS Post 54. She enjoyed crocheting, planting flowers and vegetable gardens, and enjoying the produce that came each year. Harriett had a passion for assisting those with handicaps, trying to make their lives better.
Surviving are her companion, William Grant of Bryan; two children, Charles H. (Sandy) Blankenship of Ashland, Kentucky and Elizabeth Dawn (William) Keeton, of Ashland, Kentucky; five grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra (Glenn) Spencer of Huntington, West Virginia and Lynn (Gary) Hatfield of Milton, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jerry Blake, Barry Glenn Blake and Randy Blake.
To honor Harriett’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Memorial services for Harriett will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
