Nancy Smith, 76

Nancy M. (Speiser) Smith, age 76, of Stryker, Ohio died peacefully Thursday night, November 14, 2013 in CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center, surrounded by her family. She was born July 27, 1937 in Defiance, County, Ohio to the late Emery and Margaret (Lantow) Speiser. She was employed by Strydel, in Stryker, until her retirement in 2000.

Survivors: Daughter, Tonya (Hank) Shepherd, Stryker, Ohio. Granddaughter, Christina (Terry) Deitz, Stryker, Ohio. Grandsons, Jesse Bethel and Harley Bethel, Both of Michigan. Great-grandchildren, Shanna, Terry, Courtney, Jennifer. One great-great grandchild expected. Brother, Lavon Speiser, Sherwood, Ohio. Sister, Shirley Cereghin, Defiance, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Kenneth, Leroy, Charles Jerry. Infant nephew, Kenneth Speer.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio. Pastor Ned Speiser officiating. Interment will follow in Evansport Cemetery.

Friends may call 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio.
