Kelley Sobieck, age 58, of Sherwood, Ohio, passed away on October 14, 2020 at The Laurels in Defiance. Kelley worked in maintenance for many companies. He was also an engine mechanic.
Kelley was born on August 15, 1962 in Paulding County to William and Helen (Goodenough) Sobieck. Kelley loved building models of anything and everything, and while he would sometimes build from a kit, he would often be able to build something from scratch.
Kelley is survived by his father, William Sobieck; sister, Jean McGlaughlin; sister, Sandra Conley; brother, William D. Sobieck; brother, Rick Sobieck; and girlfriend, Opal Yenser. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Sobieck.
Services will be held at a later date. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Defiance County Humane Society in Kelley’s memory.
