Amanda Grace Salisbury, 33 years of age, passed away in the emergency room of Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, Saturday, December 12, 2020. Amanda was born May 6, 1987, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of Robin and Angela (Plaster) Salisbury. She was a 2005 graduate of Hicksville High School, and continued her education receiving her STNA certificate. She worked at Nemco Foods for the past two years, supporting her two children whom she adored and would do anything for. Amanda was a free spirit who loved music, art, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed camping, canoeing and hiking with her friends and family. Many knew her to have a unique sense of style and fashion. She loved to shop for and create new outfits, as well as decorate her home for the holidays. Amanda was loved by many for her sense of humor, good nature and high spirits. She will surely be missed by her family, friends, and community.
Surviving are her two children, Layne Salisbury and Rowan Pierman, both of Hicksville; her parents, Robin Salisbury of Waterloo, Indiana and Angela Dreher of Hicksville; five siblings, Robert Salisbury of Hicksville, Aleasha (Mitchell) Smith of Antwerp, Jessica (Bill) Stecher of Florida, Jacob Stevens of Hicksville and Marcus Dreher of Hicksville; her grandmother, Kathy Plaster of Hicksville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Warren Plaster, Marilyn Johnston, Jerry Johnston and Larry Coker.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and the family will hold private services. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street. Hicksville, Ohio.
