A fire heavily damaged a house in Continental Tuesday afternoon.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office says firefighters from Continental, Miller City and Kalida were dispatched to the scene of a house fire at 307 E. Elm St. just past noon on Tuesday.
The house reportedly sustained heavy damage. The family dog died in the blaze, but no one else was injured.
