This is why we pay those taxes. One person overdoses while driving south on South Main Street in Bryan, Sunday evening…and crashes near the Burger King. No one is hurt. It was one of several incidents that kept police busy this past weekend. Bryan officers also responded to a string of petty thefts Saturday morning…along with a list of domestic disputes…and a report of a kidnapping. On top of that…another overdose call, a few hours later…over on East Butler street. The investigation into that continues. The police…as babysitters. That’s why you pay.
