Glenn Ray Schrock, 72

Glenn Ray Schrock, 72, of Harlan, Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne.  Glenn was born December 11, 1948, in Tuscola, Illinois to Jacob E. and Fannie B. (Bontrager) Schrock.  He married Agalia “Gayle” Bush on July 23, 1968, in Phoenix, Arizona, and she survives.  Glenn owned and operated Schrock Drywall for over 40 years and helped his wife Gayle with her business Schrock Ceramics.  He attended Central Ministries, Fort Wayne.  Glenn loved and was instrumental in the lives of his grandkids, Damon and Jacob Mericle.  In his free time, he enjoyed reading, traveling, racing dirt track cars, avid fan of Chevy classic cars, working out at Health Fit – Hicksville, breeding and raising Arabian show horses, and watching sports – especially the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Schrock of Harlan, Indiana; two children, Barry (Heather) Schrock of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Katrina (Darin) Osmun of Auburn, Indiana; five grandchildren, Damon Mericle, Jacob Mericle, Kaitlyn Schrock, Chase Osmun and Drew Osmun; and a brother, Ron (Patty) Schrock of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon J. Schrock; and his mother-in-law, Jesper Bush.

A gathering of family and friends for Glenn Ray Schrock will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.  A Celebration of Life will follow at the funeral home beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Pastors Don Delagrange and Jack Teeple officiating.

Those that would like to remember Glenn should make memorial contributions directly to the family, who will then give them to a charity of their choosing.

The family requests those attending visitation or services that are not vaccinated with the Covid-19 Vaccine, to please wear a mask and to observe social distancing and refrain from physical contact with the family while in the funeral home.
