Kristina (Whetstone) Matrisch, age 58, of Fayette, Ohio, passed away July 15, 2021 in Toledo, Ohio.
Kristina was born to the late Lawrence and Hazel (Sackett) Whetstone on August 2, 1962 in Jonesville, Michigan. She graduated from Jonesville High School, and later graduated with an associates degree from Jackson Community College. Kristina loved to paint and be artistic. She also enjoyed going to the beach.
Surviving Kristina is her son, Jeremy Lee of Stryker; son, Kenneth (Kattie) Lee of Stryker; and son, Adam Lee of Stryker. She is also survived by grandson, Liam Lee; granddaughter, Autumn Lee; sister, Betty Gamble; and brother, Daniel Whetstone. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Benjamin Gamble; brother, Jerry Whetstone; and sister, Virginia Handy.
Visitation for Kristina will take place on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the United Brethren Church in Stryker from 4pm-7pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the church, at 11am with Pastor Nick Woodall officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Stryker. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
