Following a surge in cases, COVID-19 vaccinations in the county and state are back on an upward trend. Williams County Health officials say…first doses administered in the county began falling in late May. Over the last three months, the peak was around 370 doses…the week of May 24. Then…vaccinations dropped to just over 50 in the week June 28…but started to kick back up, after July 19. Over the last week, just over 200 first doses were administered. State officials confirm…38% of the county population has received at least the first dose of the vaccine, or about 14,139 people.
