German Faces Charges

A Hudson man is held at the Steuben County Jail…after he fled from a traffic stop, officials tell reporters. A deputy tried to pull over Austin German…on a small motorcycle…on County Road 500 South, near County Road 225 West. The chase ended when German left the road into a field. Officers then set up a perimeter. After a nearly three-hour search using a drone and a police dog, German was found and taken into custody near the intersection of Ozark Street and West Street in Pleasant Lake by the Indiana State Police…then booked into the Steuben County Jail on one count of felony resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
