Herbert E. Estrich, age 90, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at South Port Square in Port Charlotte. Herbert retired as a ramp agent for US Air with over 30 years of service. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. After retiring he enjoyed traveling extensively to Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. He enjoyed returning to Edon every year for his class reunion.
Herbert E. Estrich was born on March 28, 1932 in Williams County, Ohio, the son of Arthur R. and Bernice E. (Sewell) Estrich.
Herbert is survived by his sister Madolyn Cross; nephews, Jeff (Pam) Cross , Bob (Nancy Kezur) Estrich; nieces, Elsie Turanski, Angela (Mike) Pickett, Cindy (Kevin) Barnhouse, Janet (Craig) Rush and Gina (Don) Hughes and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Johnny Estrich and niece, Pam Love.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Doug Widdowson officiating. Burial will follow at Edon Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be provided by the Edon American and the US Army Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to give a memorial donation may give to the American Cancer Society.
